I have been a self-taught amateur photographer for a few years and like taking pictures of different categories including people, animals and scenery to name a few. I set this website up when I was younger, I could never afford to have my first camera until I was working so this is something I want my son Jack who is 5 years old to experience and learn more about photography.
So, this website is to showcase our work together as a family and get the experience we require. We are based in Bargoed, Caerphilly, Wales any questions or concerns please contact us.
Our Equipment
Nikon D80 - This is the first ever DSLR camera I brought back in 2008 from new and has served me well over the years.
Nikon D3200 - Back in July 2022 I wanted to experience some more updated equipment so bought this 2nd hand from a company called MPB. This was a great way to get an updated camera without having the full costs involved with buying a new one.
Metz 44 AF-1 Digital Flash - I bought this not long after buying the Nikon D80 camera as the internal flash didn’t have great quality when doing work internally.
Nikon DX AF-s Nikkor 18-135mm 1:3.5-5.6G ED Lens - This was brought with the Nikon D80 back in 2008.
iPhone 14 Pro - Purchased in October 2023
Software Used
I currently use Adobe Creative Cloud software for editing, designing my website and of course showcasing this website to you.
The applications I regularly use from Adobe are Lightroom, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Portfolio. I am in the process of getting used to using Photoshop for the editing of my photos but I will only use this to refine and not to go over the top.
